Yardwork

I know...I know...My blog titles are always so creative! ;)  You probably read my sister Amber's blog, who always thinks of something so cute...and then I come up with "Yardwork."  Ha!  It's okay-- it's just the first thing that comes to mind!

Anyway, last Saturday daddy went fishing with his buddies.  So that afternoon, mommy and Caeden decided to do some yardwork.  First he wanted to use the hose.  So we put his new hose attachment on.  It's a good thing it was 80 degrees outside because Caeden definitely didn't stay dry.  Within a few seconds of figuring out how to squirt the water, he pointed it straight at his head, pushed the trigger, and the water pushed his hat off, soaking his face and clothes.  But of course, he just looked at me and laughed.  This is a two-year-old's version of "yardwork:"

First the cleaning of the side of the house (this is where he liked to squirt the water):

Then the raking of all our leaves (or lack thereof) ;)

And lastly, watering Daddy's tree and blueberry bushes...They still need water after all the rain, right?

As messy as it was, we had a blast playing in the water, and Caeden truly thought he was helping, which is so fun to watch!  We are enjoying the warmer weather, and hope it decides to stick around!  Have a good weekend!
