Growing Up

So, 2 nights after we got home from the beach, Caeden got to start sleeping his first "really big boy bed!!!"  He's been in a toddler bed for almost a year, and has always done great!  BUT his toddler bed makes into a crib that we're using for Callie.  So, Caeden needed a new bed!  Since Reid is super handy and loves building things, he decided to build Caeden's bed himself!  Luckily, we have a friend who does carpentry for a profession and was able to let Reid use his tools, and give him guidance along the way.

The bed turned out amazing! I was so impressed and kept saying, "It just looks so professional!" :)  Here are pictures of Caeden's new bed:

I loved the actual baseball bat & baseball

that he mounted on the headboard

to match the sports theme!

Since we also had to move his dresser/changing table out,

and his glider out, his whole room got re-done.

We moved his train table in here, and most

of his toys from the playroom! 

And here he is - read for bed!!

He did great and has stayed in bed every night!
